Connect-Clinic is excited to announce we have joined PurposeMed to establish a sustainable home for virtual gender-affirming care.

Our new service, now called Foria Clinic, has launched in Ontario.

Connect-Clinic relies on virtual health care in order to provide care throughout Ontario. While our team is based in Toronto, we offer our services province-wide. We are able to do this with the aid of Input Health’s cloud-based collaborative health record. This electronic medical record offers an integrated platform for clients and the care team, from scheduling appointments to conducting virtual visits, with a built-in patient portal with messaging.

Essentially, virtual health care allows providers and clients to use telemedicine and digital tools to remotely communicate and interact with each other in real-time. Telemedicine refers to long-distance client care. This can involve addressing client concerns, providing medical advice, and collaboratively developing a comprehensive care plan.

A virtual visit, or an eVisit, is a private and confidential ‘face-to-face’ appointment — similar to an in-office health care appointment, this e-consultation will only be between you and your health care provider. You may attend this appointment from wherever you are.
